Donald Pleasance returns as Dr. Loomis, scarred and crippled from his last encounter with Myers and seething with a fanatical zeal to stop the freak from repeating his previous rampage. Pleasance is the best thing about the film as an aging hero seemingly on the verge of madness who drags a bum leg in his manic rush to save little orphan Jamie (Danielle Harris), the 10-year-old waif terrorized by her homicidal uncle. I like all of the halloween movies but this one is boring until about halfway through. Im glad that Michael is back but i still would rather watch the first one. Danielle Harris is what really makes this movie good. She is a very good actress she is one of the reasons i didnt turn the movie off.
Customer Review: The Divimax Return of Michael Myers
The first time I saw a Michael Myers movie was when I was homealone at night when my mother was at the store. The movie was Halloween 5 and I was watching it on the AMC channel. After watching Michael go after Jamie, I was scared as hell. I was very young at the time, and I remembered the title Halloween 5. If it was Halloween 5 I thought, there must be other sequels. My mind was curious about Michael and it wanted more. So I snuck and saw all of the Halloween movies, my favorite being Halloween 4 when all of the terror for Jamie Loyd started.
I am very excited that the Divimax Edition is being released, along with the Halloween 5 Divimax edition. I enjoyed both of the movies, but I really just enjoyed this one. I just like how smart Michael is; causing a black out in the whole city, murdering most of the police men, he is a genius in this movie. Jamie was extremley lucky to get away from Michael's smart plan.
This is a-MUST for any Myers fan! I will really enjoy this and I will buy it the first day it will come out! This movie rocks along with Michael. Without Michael, there wouldn't be any Halloween movies, so I respect him of that!
